Julie Berchtold
Julie Berchtold brings to the design-build world a unique fluency in all aspects of the complete home remodel, including an accomplished aesthetic sensibility and an attention to detail and budget.
Before forming Berchtold Harris, Julie designed and remodeled eight of her personal residences, transforming bland architecture into remarkable design showcases, and in so doing, created instant equity. Julie quickly discovered that she had a natural talent for transforming both internal and external spaces, and found herself interested in each phase of the process—from infusing life into architectural and engineering drawings to designing a lighting scheme.
On a more personal note, while in college, Julie accepted a full scholarship to play basketball for a Division 1 basketball team in San Francisco. In addition to the dedication required for the scholarship, Julie, capitalizing on her creativity, started a clothing line business out of her college dorm room where she pulled ‘all-nighters’ to keep up with demand.
After college, Julie’s entrepreneurial spirit brought her to the start-up world, where she had the pleasure of helping build companies from the ground up in both Biotech and Technology industries.
